Arbio I Retro Apart in Leipzig

Leipzig was really interesting and a great place, the accommodation was really stressful Positive: The location was not as described The apartment was overlooking a very busy heavy traffic road. The surroundings were a derelict courtyard with homeless people camping on the end of the apartment block and using various spaces As Urinals and for defacation. Negative: See above but in particular the key arrangement When we arrived the key instructions would not function for us, despite me requesting details before arrival from the owners and them assuring me we didnt need internet. In the end we were luckily rescued by another apartment person who let us into the building. We contacted the owners by text The next day and for the two following days and despite repeated requests for help nothing was done beyond AI replies saying the issue would be passed on. Promises were also given for someone to attend but this never materialised.We relied upon striking up several friendships in the other apartments to be let in and out of the building. Unti we left. We were very lucky and Arbio were completely absent for the 8 nights of our stay. Similarly the wifi / television was inoperable. Again we raised it and got silly AI responses.

Negative: Obwohl ein Fernseher vorhanden war, konnte man leider nicht fernsehen.

Negative: Die Appartements wurden uns mit mehr Zimmern offeriert als dann tatsächlich zur Verfügung standen. Die fehlenden Zimmer haben dazu geführt, dass wir z.T. zu dritt in einem Bett geschlafen haben. Um diese Situation zu klären, haben wir einen ganzen Tag hinterher telefonieren müssen. Außerdem waren die Appartements nicht gut geputzt

Nicht zu empfehlen ! Positive: Die Lage war zentral, das Bad gut. Negative: Sehr laut (direkt an einer Hauptstraße), Zufahrt über Abbruchgelände, kein Reibungsloser Zugang zum Haus, Anweisungen befolgt, aber 30 Minuten erfolglos. Kommunikation schwer. Mobiliar zwar praktisch, aber sehr unbequem. Keine Stuhlkissen, kein 3. gebuchtes Bett bezogen. Kopfkissen zum beziehen verschmutzt. Wenn man das Check-out verpasst, kostet eine Stunde mehr 60 (sechzig !!! ) Euro ! Auf meine 30 Euro für 30minütiges Warten und probieren warte ich vergeblich. Wir sind einen Tag eher abgereist !!! Sagt doch alles.

Bad experience Positive: Inside the apartments it's ok, it's an old style building that was renovated. Negative: We had a bad experience with this property. They said they had free parking, that was a lie, they do not. We paid extra for a 2 bedrooom apartment and they have no such thing. A sofa in the hallway is NOT an extra bedroom. If you book and apartment for a family of 4 you would think the extra bed/sofa would be made ready for sleep before arrival, but no. For the price i was sexpecting the apartment to be ventilated before arrival, it was not. We had to open all the windows because of the smell. Outside the entrance of the apartment, in the courtyard, there's an overflown garbage bin and the entrance to get to the building entrance is very questionable as well. honestly we couldn't wait to get out of there.
